Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education got a big boost in the coming year’s state budget—the largest single-year increase it has received from the state. In total, the budget invests $677.5 million in the state-owned university system and its students.
Kayla Holsopple, a music student who is in the Cook Honors College, earned second place in the Artist Division Solo Competition at the International Euphonium and Tuba Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.
