Case Management Staff and the Office of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement (IME) have created an Emergency Food Pantry database to assist any Lewis & Clark community member who may be experiencing issues/delays with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits or who needs general food assistance.

| Law School IT Launches Live Captioning System to Support Accessibility Across Campus |
The law school has introduced live captioning in every classroom—enhancing accessibility and inclusion for all students. What began as a project to support hearing-impaired learners is now transforming how the entire community engages and connects.

| L&C Faculty and Staff Turkey Trot |
Join us at noon on Thursday, November 13 for a 2K or a 5K run or walk—your choice!
The first 50 people to show up will get a Turkey Trot t-shirt. All participants will be entered into a raffle to win a frozen turkey or tofurkey.
This annual event is a fundraiser for the L&C food pantry. Requested donations include non-perishable food and feminine hygiene products.

Homework faces an existential crisis. Has AI made it pointless?
“Fundamentally, AI complicates a preexisting problem: Often, instructors have put too little thought into homework, said Mollie Galloway, associate professor at the Graduate School of Education and Counseling at Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. ‘It's always been important to think about how to create assignments that are meaningful and deepen learning, and the increasing use of AI makes this more true than ever,’ Galloway said.”

This year’s symposium calls for us to dig into our past, strengthen our connections, and branch out, building a new ecosystem for resistance. “Sowing Resistance” invites us to examine how our personal actions ripple beyond ourselves, touching our communities, our prójimo, and the world.

Students, staff, and faculty, as well as community members, are invited to join Hilary, facilitator of InterPlay and Chaplain, as she leads 90 minutes of an embodied spirituality practice called InterPlay. InterPlay is a community-building practice that enables participants to find their creative power, collaborate with others, and expand their personal awareness through simple storytelling and movement forms, theater games, improvisation, stillness, and sound. It is a perfect antidote to stress and cynicism.
