Greetings Friends:
It is the very witching hour up at my castle and I stand alone looking out over the sleepy forests and valleys below, wondering where a creature of the night might find conversation, companionship and a pint of craft ale (or perhaps a nice O negative) on this dark and lonely night. As you may have guessed, I have returned to Transylvania County in advance of my very favorite holiday, in order to take in some mountain biking and join my good friends, Frankenstein and the Wolfman for our annual hiking trip to Gorges State Park. It will be a howling good time, I’m sure.
As for you mortals, you should enjoy the fall colors (my minions report the leaves are lovely by daylight!) and experience the bounty of the season, before we monsters take to the streets for Halloweenfest. I can promise tricking, treating and a gloriously ghoulish good time for humans of all ages—from snack-sized to entrée. Until then, I will see you in the shadows, in the black, cruising down a single track, cape flying, on a moonless night.
Immortally Yours,
Count Adventurist
