DEAN'S ADVISORY BOARD UPDATE
Pamplin School of Business
Dr. Robin Anderson, Dean
Thanks to all our board members for their continous hard work and support. There is great energy and momentum surrounding all three chapters. We look forward to highlighting their efforts and sharing the various backgrounds among our advisory boards here.
Portland Chapter
Spotlight Board Member - Barbi Barclay
I was motivated to get involved because first and foremost, I still bleed purple and white, and also, because I feel that my collegiate experience was so critical in launching my career trajectory that I'm eager to lend my experience and time to shorten the bridge between the Bluff and Portland's best employers. The markets and industries are changing so rapidly and I'm inspired by the University's dedication to evolve their curriculum and objectives just as quickly to prepare students before they ever leave campus.
San Francisco Chapter
Spotlight Board Member - Pinky Chandan
I believe in karma. UP's MBA program has helped me to succeed in the corporate and personal life. With that said, I would like to give back to my school in whatever way I can.
Seattle Chapter
Spotlight Board Member - Nick Bennett
Educating the Seattle market about the Pamplin School of Business is my main goal. I have been able to grow in my career, in great part by the education I received. Being a part of the advisory board allows me to give back to the University of Portland community, connect the University with some of the great companies in the Seattle area, and help shape the future of business education and alignment to market needs in the northwest.
