I cannot believe it is June.  I'm so excited for campers to come and experience God in a new way. Summer staff is here, we are training and preparing the camp for campers to arrive. Please keep the Event Coordinators, Faculty and Staff in your prayers as we serve those who come to camp.

Our theme verse for our Staff this summer is 1 Peter 4:8-9: "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer Hospitality to one another without grumbling." Our hope is that you will see that being lived out by our Staff throughout the Summer..

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped us accomplish the remodeling of the Hanging Rock Hilton into The Hanging Rock Inn.  This building has 8 private bedrooms each with its own bathroom. We also have a meeting space in this building, good for leadership retreats. This building has its own laundry room and a foyer that will have coffee, microwave and refrigerator for drinks and snacks for your meeting. 

We want to thank our contractor, Jim Morgan, and his team for helping us do this project just under budget. Thank you to our 413ers and Gary McKillip for helping with demo. We want to thank Hannon Heating and Air,  Dave & Terry DeNeal for all their help with paint and getting the laundry room and sink installed, Diana Mahoy for painting and cleanup, Roemer and Son Flooring for giving us a great deal and getting the floor installed in one day! WOW!! Thank you also to New Hope Christian Church, Whitestown for helping with the landscaping and last minute finishing touches, and Brad Hiller, one of our board members, and his team for helping create the walkway. We want to thank our staff: Kristen, Jennifer, Todd, Jon and Casey for helping also make sure we get this building finished. 

Great Job TEAM! This building is one of the older ones on the property and will now serve Hanging Rock for many more years in a very productive way. Praise the Lord! 

2023 Flooring Project

We have $18,000 on hand for the flooring projects. We still have a few fundraisers coming up that will help fund this project.  We anticipate all the flooring to cost around $35,000. We do have some tripping hazards and broken concrete in the dining hall that we plan to address by sanding , waxing and sealing the floor. We will be replacing the carpet in the gym and 2 of the classrooms with carpet squares and one classroom with vinyl plank to be used for a craft room.  We would love for you to join us in this effort. 

After a meeting with the Horse Camp volunteers about the Terry Evans Memorial Project. It was decided to use the money raised to help improve the tack building. Projects will include improving the structure and flooring and improving the round pen for horse riding. We will be installing a sign that reads Terry Evans Memorial Building.
