In 2013, a 14 yr old boy was sexually assault and held in solitary confinement while under the care and control of the current Juvenile Court Judge, Sharon Guffee.

In the course of the next 18-months, video evidence would be concealed and destroyed; Dist. Atty Kim Helper would negligently and improperly charge the perpetrator; and the county taxpayers would fund the defense of the perpetrator giving him five attorneys.

Even though DNA evidence was consistent with the child's description of the assault, the gross negligence of Williamson County (taxpayer funded) employees, including DA Helper and Sharon Guffee, allowed the perpetrator to walk free and leave this State while Williamson County taxpayers continued to fund his defense in civil litigation.

This happened to a child who was not convicted of a crime, but suffered a brain injury due to an autoimmune disorder called PANDAS. Sharon Guffee scoffed at his disability and cut off his parents from all contact while he was held in an 11' by 7' concrete cell alone. The emotional damage was devastating.

He was not a criminal, but a child from a normal family, perhaps just like yours. His mother struggled to find the proper placement for rehabilitation while Sharon Guffee demanded that the brain injured child be returned to kiddie prison.

It is time for profound changes in Williamson County.
