It is an incredible honor to officially join the SUNY Oneonta community as the ninth president. I look forward to getting to know the remarkable people you have raised who are now members of our academic community.
SUNY Oneonta is a place to learn and grow both inside and outside of the classroom, providing a rich assortment of opportunities for students to discover who they are and how they want to make a difference in the world. I am committed to working with the faculty and staff in supporting and encouraging your students both academically and socially.
I also understand how important family support is during a student’s college journey, and I ask for your help in reminding your student to be active participants in ensuring the college has a successful year. Please encourage them to follow the health and safety guidelines, get involved, support others, and most importantly, ask for help when they need it.
