A Message from the Office of Information Technology

Dear Iona community,

In support of a secure and seamless digital experience for all members of our community, Iona University will transition our single sign-on (SSO) service from OneLogin to QuickLaunch on June 15, 2026.

What is changing?
Beginning June 15, 2026, when you log in to MyIona, you will see the new QuickLaunch sign-in page instead of OneLogin. You will sign in using your existing Iona username and password.

At first sign-in, you will be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA).

QuickLaunch offers more robust multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods, including SMS, an authenticator app, passkeys, and security questions. In addition, it offers Adaptive MFA, which dynamically adjusts verification requirements based on real-time risk signals, including device, location, behavior, and login context. QuickLaunch includes an integrated password change service to provide a smooth, secure experience for the Iona community.

Password Station will remain available during our transition to QuickLaunch.

What You Will Need to Do
Starting Monday, June 15, 2026, please:

Upon accessing MyIona, sign in normally using your current Iona username and password.
Follow the on-screen prompts to set up MFA (for example, by registering a mobile device or preferred method to receive verification codes).
Once MFA is set up, you will use that method when prompted to confirm your identity during future sign-ins.
