FAQ:

Is Major Application still happening?
Yes, Major Application is moving forward along the same time-line as previously outlined.
Please check myCIA/MajorApplication for the most up-to-date information

Am I still installing my 4ftx8ft wall display of Foundation work?
No, you are no longer completing a 4ftx8ft wall display of Foundation work.
You are encouraged to include as much work as you can from your Foundation classes in your digital portfolio, which is included in your major-specific PDF submission

What if I am away from campus and do not have access to my Foundation work that I was going to set up as part of my 4ftx8ft wall display?
We ask that you explain this in your major-specific letter of interest by simply stating that you had intended to showcase the majority of your Foundation work in your 4ftx8ft wall display, and that you are unable to document it given the short notice of the change.
The faculty are aware of the current situation and that everyone is in different situations, we are all in this together.

What is happening with the interviews I signed up for?
Interviews will occur as google meetings where you will video chat with the faculty, instead of an in-person interview.
Interviews will happen at the same times/days as you originally scheduled.
You will receive an email for each of the interviews you signed up for that is an invitation to the meeting.
This email will have a link that says “join hangouts meet”
Click this link and join the meeting prior to your scheduled interview time.
The faculty will join the meeting at the scheduled time and your interview will occur.

What if I still have questions?
The staff and faculty are doing everything they can to seamlessly transition the major application process to a completely digital platform.
