SGA Sophomore Class Council
Cancelled: Garden Party at Gertrude’s, Sunday, April 5, 7-10pm
Created: Sophomore Class Virtual Game Night, Saturday, April 11
The traditional Class Garden Party at Gertrude’s could not take place, but that didn’t stop second-year Blue Jays from getting together! This year, the sophomores participated in a tournament-style game night on Zoom that featured games like Kahoot and Pictionary. Monetary prizes were awarded to first-, second-, and third-place contenders. This Virtual Game Night event, along with a creative Class Photo project, brought second-year Blue Jays together as a united class.
Last Day of Class (LDOC) Event
Friday, May 1
Celebrating the last day of classes each semester has become a tradition at Hopkins. The Blue Jay flock commemorated the last day of this unprecedented spring semester with a fun-filled virtual celebration complete with prizes and giveaways.
A tremendous THANK YOU to all Blue Jay families who have supported the Hopkins Parents Fund throughout this 2019-2020 academic year. And there is still time to make a gift before the June 30th fiscal year end that will help us continue to enhance the student experience.
Both on-campus and virtual events offered Blue Jays the opportunity to grow as a community and take a needed break from coursework. Your generosity is deeply appreciated!
