President Collins Appointed to NAICU Committee on Tax Policy |

Walsh University President, Dr. Tim Collins has been appointed to a three-year term with the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities’ (NAICU) Committee on Tax Policy. NAICU is the only national organization solely focused on representing private, nonprofit higher education on public policy issues in Washington, D.C. At a time of heightened budget pressures and concerns on the value of higher education in America, President Collins will bring extensive government relations expertise to advocate nationally on behalf of Walsh and the students and families the University serves and all other private institutions. Education Programs Accreditation |
The Accreditation Council of the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) has issued a letter to Walsh University affirming reaccreditation of the undergraduate and graduate Education programs, effective through Spring 2028. Read More

Walsh University will conduct a campus-wide test of its emergency notification system midday on Monday, Oct. 2. During the test, our campus notification system will send a simultaneous alert to individuals through landline phones, cellular phones, text messaging and email. Although the message will advise that it is a TEST, individuals should provide advance notice to anyone who may receive the message instead of the intended recipient. The Walsh University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program recently hosted a continuing education workshop. The three-hour event was a presentation of graduate student research titled “Examination and Treatment of Pelvic Related Disorders for the Non-Specialized Physical Therapist.” The workshop was presented by student physical therapists of the Class of 2024 Anna Ligas, Abigail Miller, Masyn Eckhart, Danielle Simon, Morgan Oldack, and Gabriella McAuliffe, who were advised by Dr. Alexia Lairson PT, DPT, PhD and Dr. Darla Schwab PT, DPT. The event was well attended by Walsh DPT alumni and physical therapists from the local community.

Walsh University and Dr. Dan Passerini, Executive Director of Cross-Enterprise Operations, has been recognized by Strengthening Stark for its Skilled Technical Workforce Program and awarded the Game Ball Award in the Business Growth category for championing innovation and technology. Congratulations!

The Spring 2024 Graduation Application deadline is Saturday, September 30. Students who plan to complete their program requirements in Spring 2024 should utilize the Apply for Graduation feature in the Cav Center along with the Commencement Regalia Order Form. If you plan to graduate at the end of Summer 2024 or Fall 2024, please see your email from the Registrar for more information.
