An information session for the Quebec Travel Course will be held tonight, March 25th from 7:30pm - 8:15pm on Zoom.
Come learn about the language, culture, history and cuisine of Quebec in this hands on, experiential course! We are holding an information session to answer your questions and tell you more. The course will run in Summer Session I and we will travel for 6 nights to Quebec (May 24th - 30th). You do not need any experience with the course subject matter or the language to take this course.

This year's Plunkett Poetry Festival will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 12pm - 6pm at Jewett Hall in Augusta and feature keynote speaker, Natalie Diaz.
The first hour will feature poetry workshops with Natalie Diaz, Jeri Theriault, and Mihku Paul. If your are interested, you can register for a spot in one of these workshops at the link below.
From 1pm - 4pm, there will be a book fair and poetry readings, including an Open Mic that is open to students. If you are interested in participating in the Open Mic.

| We Want the Funk Film Screening
|
Join UMA Libraries and UMA’s Music Department on Tuesday April 15th from 12pm - 1:30pm at the UMA Fine Arts Building, Room 124 & online for a free film screening of the PBS Independent Lens documentary, “WE WANT THE FUNK!” The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Anita Jerosch, Associate Professor of Music, Dr. Lindsey Wiehl, Assistant Professor of Music, and Duane Edwards, Instructor of Music.
