Reminder: Complete COVID-19 Business Impact Survey

Travel Oregon, in partnership with Business Oregon and Small Business Development Centers, wants to help assess how COVID-19 is impacting your business. Responses to this survey are confidential and will not be shared publicly, only aggregate information will be shared. Information gathered by this survey will be vital to policymakers who are working to provide assistance to businesses during this crisis.
Currently, 650 participants have completed the survey. Our goal is to collect 1,000 responses. Access the survey here and share with your networks. The survey will remain open through April 15.

State of Oregon Offers Crisis Support to New York

The state of Oregon made national news on April 4 when Governor Brown tweeted to Governor Cuomo that Oregon would be sending 140 ventilators to New York to support their call for help.
Since then, Governor Cuomo thanked Governor Brown and the state of Oregon multiple times during live interviews and said that N.Y. will repay the favor when Oregon needs it. The ventilators were shipped on April 6 by FEMA, Oregon Office of Emergency Management and the Oregon Guard. To spread Oregon love, each ventilator case was branded with one of Chris Bucci’s famous “Heart in Oregon” stickers. 

Oregon21 Update

The postponement of the 2020 summer Olympics in Tokyo has caused a shift in global sporting events, including the World Athletics Championships Oregon21. 
The new dates for the World Athletics Championships will be July 15-24, 2022.
