Girls Who Invest: Summer Program for Sophomores
Girls Who Invest, a non-profit geared toward placing more women in the asset management pipeline, is looking for bright, talented, diverse sophomore women from all majors for its 2018 summer intensive program. The 4-week program at the UPenn or University of Notre Dame includes learning core finance and investment concepts from top business school professors, followed by a 6-week paid internship at a leading asset management firm. The program is tuition-free & includes room and board. In addition to the summer program, Girls Who Invest also offers tuition-free, self-directed online programs for sophomore & freshman women. FAQ: Do I really need to write a thank you note to every person with whom I interview? If so, is email good enough?
Yes--a note to everyone you met, whether one on one or in a group. Email is fine, but handwritten is even better. Better yet: send both ways, especially if it’s a large firm, where mail might be slow to be distributed.What should you put in? Here’s an excellent list of 5 points to always include in a thank you note!
