Dear 4-H Families,
It seems like Spring is coming. This is one of my favorite times of the year. It is wonderful to see the “newness” outside after the winter season is finishing. New baby animals appearing on farms, new plants popping up after the dormant winter, temperatures warming as we head toward the summer months.
Thanks to all of the livestock participants for your grace as the committee waits for tags to arrive to distribute. Also, remember that most animal projects have requirements needed to show or sell this summer, so make sure to check out the focus so you can meet those project meetings.
Another reminder as we head to summer about camp. This is your last week to register, which includes completing payment and the health information. We have 65 campers registered for summer camp on June 12-15 at Camp Lakotah. If you are still interested we still have some spots open at the fee of $225/person. Deadline closes on April 19. For those of you that have registered, please remember we need your health form with immunization record and payment to complete your registration. Go to https://go.wisc.edu/61ew73 to register
Have a great week,
Marie

Winter Shooting Sports Wrap Up! |
The last few weeks of March brought a flurry of activity for our shooting sports project kids. Our final winter Archery and Air Rifle project meetings were held with some fun and games incorporated. Some of our coaches even got a little competitive.
We also finish up our season by encouraging the active participants to compete in the state-wide Tri-County Shoot hosted by the Washington County 4-H Shooting Sports held at the Washington County fair grounds.
