For the second summer, IUP anthropology students are excavating the site of a World War II plane crash in Germany, this time near Frankfurt, to assist a larger US effort to account for missing military personnel from past conflicts.
Last week, IUP hosted Eric Hagarty, Pennsylvania’s acting education secretary, who discussed the importance of continued funding for higher education and visited with students and their faculty mentors in summer programs.
2:00 p.m., Zoom. Continue the discussion about the documentary This Changes Everything, which explores gender inequality in Hollywood, with the Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement.
7:00 p.m., Fisher patio facing Oak Grove. This Community Music School and Music Department band will perform patriotic music, marches, and more, with guest appearances by President Michael Driscoll and flute professor Terri Wacker.
