For the second summer, IUP anthropology students are excavating the site of a World War II plane crash in Germany, this time near Frankfurt, to assist a larger US effort to account for missing military personnel from past conflicts.

Last week, IUP hosted Eric Hagarty, Pennsylvania’s acting education secretary, who discussed the importance of continued funding for higher education and visited with students and their faculty mentors in summer programs.
