Cayuga Community College Offers Electro-Mechanical System Fundamentals Micro-Credential
The program consists of 6 classes offered online or in person at Cayuga Community College's Fulton campus. The classes cover:
- Hydraulics,
- Pneumatics,
- Industrial Maintenance,
- Advanced Manufacturing and
- Electro-Mechanical Systems.
Earners of the EMS Fundamentals prepare for entry positions in industrial facilities, specifically those that require operation of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical motor controls and associated precision measurement tools.
Earners are able to read and interpret basic electrical and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot, perform calculations used in the trade, and demonstrate communication skills for the workplace.
