31 Days of Jazz Concludes With a Final Week
of Virtual Atlanta Jazz Festival Sessions

ATLANTA - May 22, 2020
- The nightly Atlanta Jazz Festival Sessions have been garnering thousands of views on the Atlanta Jazz Festival and Jazz Times Magazine Facebook pages. The final week’s schedule of performances will conclude the 31 Days of Jazz series with an encore performance by Joe Gransden and Kenny Banks, Sr.

The May 25 – May 31 complete lineup includes:

    Monday, May 25 – Memorial Day performance by Melvin Jones
    Tuesday, May 26 – Tyrone Jackson
    Wednesday, May 27 – Karla Harris (recorded remotely)
    Thursday, May 28 – Russell Gunn
    Friday, May 29 – Kebbi Williams
    Saturday, May 30 – Mose Davis
    Sunday, May 31 – Encore performance of Joe Gransden and Kenny Banks, Sr.

The performances, the majority of which were recorded at the Atlanta Music Project studios, will be posted at 9 p.m. on the Atlanta Jazz Festival’s and Jazz Times Magazine’s Facebook pages and also promoted on WJZA-FM. Each performance is also available on the Atlanta Jazz Festival website the following day.
