Good morning! This week's Fiercely Forward Friday spotlights how one student is turning bold ideas into real-world impact; Volleyball and women's soccer host events throughout the weekend.

• This week’s Fiercely Forward Friday spotlight is Owen Collins ‘25, a student in Clemson’s first-in-nation undergraduate automotive engineering program. Collins has served as a department ambassador, contributed to multiple Creative Inquiry projects and helped pioneer the Deep Orange undergraduate pathway, including the design of a high-speed, semiautonomous disaster-response vehicle. These hands-on opportunities show how Clemson prepares students to drive innovation in the rapidly evolving mobility industry.

• Clemson University’s Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps program has been ranked in the top ten percent of all 145 Air Force ROTC detachments nationwide for the second year in a row.

• Volleyball hosts the Clemson/Wofford tournament this weekend. The Tigers will play against USC Upstate tonight at 6 p.m. and Wofford at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free for both matches. 

• Women's soccer hosts Cal at Historic Riggs Field on Sunday at 1 p.m. The game is designated as Senior/Youth Day. Follow the Athletics Calendar to keep up with the latest events.
