Dear Traveler: A chilly wind may be rattling the last of the leaves off the trees in the forest and Jack Frost may be nipping at your nose, but there’s holiday cheer to warm up the season clear through until spring. From the busy teams tinseling this year’s floats for the Christmas Parade to all the folks trying to make sure the sugarplums dance, the silver bells ring, the chestnuts roast and the winter is appropriately wonderland-y, Transylvania County is gearing up for another spectacular holiday season.
Downtown Brevard offers visiting elves the chance to do a little holiday shopping, summon some childlike wonder, and maybe get in a short bicycle ride before settling down with a seasonal ale. Tis the season to enjoy a heroic dose of holiday spirit, served up almost every day in December. Brevard’s got one cool Yule, so come on down and enjoy the figgy pudding.
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,
The Adventurist
