Dear Traveler:

Did you catch that eclipse? That sure was something, wasn’t it? The white squirrels haven’t stopped talking about it. It was an historic high in what has been a truly extraordinary summer season up here in Transylvania County. Fall may be just around the corner, but we’ve got plenty of warm days and sunshine left to enjoy. So before you pack up your shorts and stow your sunhat for next season, remember September has plenty to recommend it—from adventure to art to what might be one of the best line-ups ever and one of the best music festivals around (admittedly we’re biased). This is a beautiful time of year. Enjoy it with us.

See you on the trail,

The Adventurist
