UU the Vote – We Need You This Sunday
Our commitment to justice calls us towards greater action in 2024.

Have you felt the creeping anxiety as the August 13th primary and November 5th general election days get closer? So many of you have told us about how you feel deeply worried and profoundly overwhelmed – but this election is too important for us to feel powerless! Here at the Fellowship, we’re partnering with the League of Women Voters WI, WUUSAN (Wisconsin UU State Action Network), and ESTHER Interfaith Organizing to take action for our values as part of the nationwide UU the Vote efforts organized by the UUA. Please watch the newsletter, our Justice Hub calendar, and the announcement slides before and after services for opportunities to serve and engage! If you’re interested in helping directly with these efforts, please reach out to Rev. Hannah at hannah@fvuuf.org.
And we need your courageous action starting NOW! Beginning this Sunday, July 14th, we have postcards for you to address and include a short line or phrase to encourage people to vote in the Aug 13 primary and to vote "no" on the two referendums. If passed they both would change the state constitution, and you can learn more about these ballot measures here.

Introducing the Call Discernment Team for Rev. Hannah!
At our Annual Meeting on June 2nd, you heard about the Governing Board and Executive Team’s plans to ask the congregation to call Rev. Hannah as a co-minister with Rev. Christina. You can review the information shared here. To help steward this process, we’ve assembled a great team of people to help us! The Call Discernment Team is Brian Murton, Dave Gerlach, Marti Wheeler, Sam Zinth, and Tim Watson, and we’re so grateful for their willingness to serve. The team has met and is looking forward to sharing more information with you, including a timeline, planned events, and more information about what it means to call a minister. Please be on the lookout for a special email from the team in mid-July full of all that information and more! If you have questions in the meantime, please reach out to the Governing Board (fvuufboard@fvuuf.org), Rev. Hannah (hannah@fvuuf.org), or Rev. Christina (christina@fvuuf.org).

Our young learners will participate in activities designed to help them find the magic to connect to their deepest inner lives, their community, and to the joy of life around them through…
•  Service to Others
•  Silence and Mindfulness
•  Sunshine and Movement
Fall registrations carry through the summer - no need to register your child(ren) if they are registered for the 2023-2024 program year.
