Countdown to Convention

The 2022 National Convention will officially kick off in a little over two weeks.

Worship services and business sessions for the National Convention will be streamed live on the NAFWB Facebook and at https://nafwb.org. Teen worship services from the Vertical Three Conference will be streamed on the Vertical Three Ministries Facebook. A Spanish translation of services can be viewed on the @NAFWBES Facebook. Services begin each evening at 7:00 p.m. CDT.

Convention Seminars

Nearly 90 seminars and breakout sessions will be hosted by national departments and commissions Monday through Wednesday. Plan to take advantage of these opportunities for continuing education and ideas to enhance your ministry.

Seminars will be recorded and made available online in the months following the convention.

New Resources Available at Convention

Be sure to stop by the IM booth at the 2022 National Convention to talk with missionaries and collect our free and newly-designed resources.

How to Qualify for a Grant

The Free Will Baptist Foundation will be hosting a seminar at the National Convention Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. entitled, "How to Qualify for a Grant." Listen to our Grant Committee explain how you can apply to receive FREE money from the Foundation.

Parrish Named Vice President for Institutional Advancement

Todd Parrish assumes a new role as Vice President for Institutional Advancement on July 1 after the retirement of David Williford, according to President Matt Pinson. In his new role, he will engage in the overall administration of fundraising and external relations at Welch, working with Tim Owen, Director of the Welch Fund.

Chaplaincy, Assessment, and Men in the Church

North American Ministries will host three seminars in English at the National Convention (along with several in Spanish):

Monday, 9:00 a.m. - "Chaplains and Free Will Baptists" (Terry Austin)
Monday, 1:00 p.m. - "Where Have All the Good Men Gone?" (Matthew Grady Calhoun)
Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. - "Assess Yourself" (Brad Ransom)

WNAC Celebration Service

The WNAC Celebration Service will take place Tuesday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the National Convention. The service will feature worship music, WNAC updates and news, and speaker Shannon Little, missionary to Japan.

The service will be streamed live on the WNAC Facebook.

Financial Seminars at Convention

The Board of Retirement will host two seminars at the 2022 National Convention:

Monday, 9:00 a.m. - "Financial Planning for Churches" (John Brummitt)
Monday, 10:00 a.m. - "Let's Talk Money" (John Brummitt)
