In keeping with our Jesuit value of cura personalis – care for the whole person – we’re sharing tips and resources to help you take care of your body, mind, and spirit this semester.
Midterms are here. And while the rollout of the vaccine gives us so much hope for the future, we know that the stresses of the pandemic are still very real. Creating a self-care regimen now can help you prepare for times of higher stress and build healthy habits for the future.
Get support on your self-care journey from the University Counseling Center! Check out their weekly
Anxiety Management Workshops on Zoom every Monday at 2:30 p.m. Upcoming topics include progressive muscle relaxation and tips to improve focus and motivation.
And when all else fails, get up and move your body! Try a new workout like a
virtual yoga class through the University Sports Complex or set a reminder on your phone to get up and stretch every few hours throughout the day. A little movement can help boost your mood and increase your concentration.
