Spotlight on: Maine Audubon

Maine Audubon’s volunteers help protect our state’s wildlife and habitat. Our volunteer corps is an integral part of what we do: we harness the talents and passions of our volunteers to increase Maine Audubon’s impact, through environmental education, conservation, and advocacy.
The Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center offers seasonal, environmental education programs designed to foster environmental literacy and build connection to the natural world in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. We work with youth of all ages, preschool through high school, as well as families. We also offer canoe and kayak rentals and a wide array of local products and educational materials.
Maine Audubon especially needs volunteers for their Canoe Rental Attendants at the marsh. Learn more about that role here.
