Deadline: November 1, 2021
The projects should utilize the specific services provided by the Oklahoma Nathan Shock Cores as described on the website for the Multiplexing Protein Analysis Core, Genomic Sciences Core, GeroScience Redox Biology Core GeroInformatics Core, or the Geropathology Service in the Program Enhancement Core. The awards are generally between $5,000 and $20,000 depending on the specific needs of the applicant. View the RFA here.
Deadline: November 1, 2021
The awards are to support only the use of designated services listed in the RFA from the Proteostatis of Aging Core, Healthspan & Chronobiosis of Aging Core, and Human Multi-omics of Aging Core, and the funds will be directed to those cores (no funding for personnel, supplies or other expenses will be provided to the applicants). The awards are for one year and will pay directly to the cores for specific services, not to exceed $10,000 per award. View the RFA here.
Rolling deadline
The projects should utilize the specific services provided by one or more of the UW Nathan Shock Center Cores. The cores include Protein Phenotypes of Aging, Metabolite Phenotypes of Aging, Invertebrate Longevity, Healthspan Core, and the Artifical Intelligence and Bioinformatics Core as described here. The awards are generally up to $10,000, depending on the specific needs of the applicant. View the RFA here.
Rolling deadline
Proposed projects must be collaborative, in that costs of studies that would be performed in the applicant's lab must be borne by the applicant, but costs associated with any part of the study that is performed at the Shock Center, including for example tissue procurement, processing, and shipping, will be borne by the Shock Center. Hosted by the Forum on Regenerative Medicine at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine
Virtual | November 2-3, 2021
The workshop will explore how the immune system impacts clinical outcomes of tissue repair and regeneration in patients. Discussions at the workshop will examine: endogenous regeneration and the local environment, lessons learned on immune tolerance and graft acceptance, potential opportunities to engineer allogeneic donor cells for host acceptance, and new tools and preclinical models for monitoring and optimizing the host’s pro-regenerative environment.
