Michael Bloom Elected as Multi-Year Leader in American Society of Reproductive Medicine |
Michael Bloom was elected to serve on the Leadership Committee of the Environment and Reproduction Special Interest Group in the American Society of Reproductive Medicine for a five-year term in leadership. He will serve in a different role each year, starting with vice chair, then chair-elect, chair, immediate past chair, and past chair.

Members of the HAP walking group met on September 18, to enjoy the “prize” lunch awarded to their department for being the unit winner of the Spring 2025 Step Challenge. Gilbert Gimm accepted the Steps trophy from Associate Dean Cathy Tompkins. HAP was also the unit winner in fall 2024.

Dr. Minnkyong Lee will be giving an in-person presentation on the NIH All of Us Research Program, a large-scale, publicly funded initiative designed to collect health data from over one million diverse participants across the U.S. Its primary aim is to accelerate health research and drive progress in precision medicine. The data include surveys, physical measurements, genomics, electronic health records, and digital technologies. View the flyer.

CPH Pilot Research Funding Program |
Associate Dean of Research Alison Cuellar is delighted to announce the 2025-26 CPH pilot research funding program. The CPH pilot program provides seed funding to stimulate research activity, underscoring our commitment to pioneering investigations and impactful scholarly pursuits. We encourage you to submit your applications.
The deadline for submission is January 21, 2026. Awards will be made by March 9, 2026, and extend for 12 months. The CPH pilot awards will support the direct costs of research, such as laboratory experiments, field studies, data collection, or data acquisition. Investigators may request up to $30,000; in all, approximately 8 awards are anticipated. Details on how to apply and on the review process are provided here.
