February has been a cold month, but the blue skies after the blizzard do seem to wink of warmer days to come. Amid the snow, many of our Villanovans are gearing up for NOVAdance, interviewing for jobs and and internships, volunteering, competing on the field and performing on stage—all while learning in the classroom. As we think ahead to spring, we are sharing some important reminders in advance of Spring Break and Easter, which will be coming quickly! Additionally, for our Class of 2026 families, Commencement is on the horizon! The Senior Spotlight below provides some important reminders as we approach May.

March is National Nutrition Month |
Throughout the month of March, Villanova's Office of Health Promotion will partner with other University offices and organizations to share resources and services to support Villanovans interested in learning more about how to make healthy decisions about what they eat, understand when unhealthy behaviors with food become problematic, and safely and compassionately support someone who may be struggling with their relationship with food. Information about special events, including Health Promotion's "20 for 20" virtual workshop series (which teaches about topics related to food and nutrition in just 20 minutes!), can be found in Health Promotion's calendar of events. Some events, like "Mats and Mocktails" (a free Pilates session with refreshments!), will require registration, so encourage your Wildcat to check out this great menu of activity and information!

Villanova Class Ring sales representatives will be on campus Monday, March 16 through Thursday, March 19 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Connelly Center. Current juniors and seniors can find their fit and place their orders in person to be part of this lasting Villanova tradition. By ordering now, current juniors—members of the Class of 2027—will ensure delivery of their ring prior to the Ring Blessing Ceremony that will be held for their class during Family Weekend on Friday, Sept. 25.

Fraternity and Sorority Life Education |
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (OFSL) welcomed many new members through Inter-Fraternity Council and Panhellenic recruitment. Each new member participated in an Orientation program hosted by OFSL, the Office of Health Promotion and the Title IX Office that focused on building community values, bystander intervention training and student success skill development and well-being. Family members are encouraged to learn about the resources available and ask their Villanovans questions about their experience.

Spring and Easter Break Reminders from Residence Life |
Spring Break and Easter Break are upon us! Below, we've included a few helpful tips to keep in mind as your Wildcat prepares for the upcoming breaks.
-
Spring Break: Residence halls will close at noon on Saturday, Feb. 28 and reopen at noon on Sunday, March 8.
- Easter Break: Residence halls will close at noon on Thursday, April 2. Halls reopen at noon on Monday, April 6.
Resident students who plan to stay on campus during either of these breaks are reminded that they must apply to stay in their residence halls through their housing portal. Information regarding Spring Break resources available to students planning to stay on campus can be found on the Residence Life page.

| |
It's hard to believe we are already talking about move out, but this process can take coordination and planning for those families living a distance from campus. If your student is considering summer storage, please review the information on our Residence Life page. The vendors listed are the only companies permitted on campus to pickup from your student's residence hall.
