Providing You and Our Employees with PPE
NSM Personal Protective Equipment Best Practices
All of our employees with direct client contact will wear a Level 2 Procedure Mask during all client interactions. NSM employees who do not have direct client contact will supply and wear their own mask or cloth face covering as a best practice in accordance with the updated CDC recommendation.
We want to ensure you feel safe in any interaction with an NSM employee. Therefore, when we have a face-to-face interaction with you we will provide you and one caregiver with a mask, if you don't already have a mask or face covering of your own.
The CDC has some helpful guidelines for making and wearing masks. Click here to learn more.
For the duration of the COVID-19 emergency, or until further notice, our procedures regarding PPE are as follows:
Gloves: Non-permeable gloves will be worn when employees handle equipment or have client contact. Gloves will be removed and disposed of properly after each use and hands will be washed immediately after removing gloves.
Masks: Surgical or N95 masks will be worn during client contact. Cloth masks may be worn by all employees who have contact with fellow employees or other non-client individuals during the day.
Goggles: Goggles may be worn during client contact and will be disinfected after each use and hands will be washed after removing the goggles.
Gowns: Gowns will still be used during client contact where exposure to blood or other bodily fluids may occur, per our regular policy.
