Who is YOUR NET Hero?

Honor your NET provider today!
Everyone deserves recognition and appreciation for doing their job well, and that certainly includes all the amazing NET health care providers. In honor of Doctors' Day 2022, we invite you to celebrate the commitment and care of your NET hero.
Now through April 30th, join us in showing your support and appreciation to your health care hero. You can make an online gift in honor of a health care provider who has made a difference in your life. What's Next for PRRT?

It’s been four years since peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) was approved for NET patients in the United States. In the time since, physicians and scientists have been studying ways to expand the group of patients for whom this treatment may be appropriate and effective.  In this presentation from NETRF’s 2021 KNOW YOUR NETs Patient Conference,  Dr. Erik Mittra discusses “Future Advancements in PRRT.” Dr. Mittra is a professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Chief of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging at Oregon Health & Science University. First World NET Forum featured NETRF-funded Researchers

The European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) held its 19th Annual Conference earlier this month in Barcelona, Spain.  The meeting brings together physicians and researchers from throughout the world to discuss the latest research on neuroendocrine cancer.  More than 1500 participants attended in person or virtually.  This year the meeting included the first World NET Forum, focusing on basic and translational science.  NETRF was proud to sponsor the prizes for best abstracts. 2021 NETRF Research Symposium Videos Online

The complete 2021 NETRF Research Symposium program is available for viewing on our website here. Individual session videos are available as well as the symposium poster series.
The 2021 symposium included nearly 60 presentations by NET researchers from around the world. Oral presentations were divided by the specific type of NET, resulting in four sessions, each hosted by two moderators with talks covering basic, translational, and clinical research projects. Each of the 27 talks was followed by a Q&A period, and each session ended with a panel discussion with session speakers, Co-Chairs, and the online audience.

Special thanks to Advanced Accelerator Applications for sponsoring this March E-update.
