Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Many people feel embarrassed or ashamed to ask for help with their depression or other mental health concerns. But many of these experiences are normal and treatable. The University Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is available to help students with issues related to adjusting to college and other psychological, interpersonal, and family problems. They offer individual sessions, group sessions, and psychiatric services. First time appointments may be scheduled online through the CAPS portal or by calling 785-864-2277. CAPS services are provided at no additional cost to currently enrolled KU students who have paid the CAPS required campus fee. Learn more about the First Appointment Process here.

Anime Architeture: Imagined Worlds and Endless Megacities
by Stefan Riekeles
Anime has been influencing cinema, literature, comic books, and video games around the world for decades. Part of what makes anime so popular are the memorable and breathtakingly detailed worlds designed by the creators, from futuristic cities of steel to romantic rural locales. Anime Architecture presents the fantastic environments created by the most important and revered directors and illustrators of Japanese animated films, such as Hideaki Anno, Koji Morimoto, and Mamoru Oshii.
This beautiful book, along with many others, can be found up in the Hatch. The Hatch Reading Room is here for you to de-stress, work on projects, take a break, and enjoy a quiet view of campus. Plenty of open tables, comfortable chairs, and of course, books, are waiting for you up on the 4th floor of Marvin from 9-5 Monday - Friday. đź“šÂ
