Privacy Training for Researchers |
The GW Privacy Office conducts various trainings to help the GW community learn more about the importance of privacy and protecting the personal data of our students, staff and faculty. Upcoming sessions will focus on matters relevant to the research community:

Upholding ethical research practices is central to GW’s scholarly mission and a shared responsibility. OVPR invites faculty, staff, postdocs and students to join sessions on key Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) topics. These hybrid interactive sessions are designed to meet federal RCR training requirements and include faculty-led presentations, real-world case studies and facilitated discussion. Faculty awards for research, scholarship and innovation will be presented at GW's 16th Annual Faculty Honors Ceremony. Participate in InnovationFest |
GW’s second annual InnovationFest will take place on Thursday, April 30, from 10:00 am–2:00 pm in the Charles E. Smith Center. This year’s theme is artificial intelligence across disciplines, and programming will explore the societal impact of AI and its role as an accelerant of discovery. InnovationFest is a unique opportunity for the GW community to share expertise with each other as well as external collaborators and guests. There are several ways to contribute to this signature event:

Submit an abstract to be considered for a poster presentation. Students, faculty, staff, postdocs, and research centers/institutes may submit abstracts by Friday, March 20.

National Consortium for Data Science (NCDS) |
The National Consortium for Data Science (NCDS) is a collaboration of leaders in academia, industry and government formed to address the data challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. NCDS routinely hosts free webinars and career panels to build data science career pathways, bridge the gap between data scientists in the public and private sectors, and support open and democratized data.
