Fighting to bring relief to Louisiana patients struggling with diabetes, AG Jeff Landry filed a lawsuit against drug manufacturers and the Pharmacy Benefit Managers who have raised the prescription costs of insulin. As the Attorney General noted: too many of our neighbors, especially the poor and those in the middle class, have been forced to ration their insulin – not because it is not available, but because they cannot afford it.

The LADOJ hosted a two-day training session in our capital region for law enforcement to help them better protect families and victims. Special Projects Coordinator Monica Taylor led the program focused on domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

In a major victory for Louisiana, our hard-working citizens in the alligator industry, and our State’s wetlands - a federal judge has sided with AG Jeff Landry and SG Liz Murrill in a lawsuit challenging California’s ban on the importation and sale of alligator products.

Cryptocurrency is becoming increasingly popular; and with that rise in popularity has also been crypto scams. As AG Jeff Landry noted when releasing some consumer safety tips, "Swindlers know no bounds; and unfortunately, too many people have been conned by cryptocurrency scammers recently. From fraudulent government scams to romance scams and everything in between, these crypto thieves play on emotions to take advantage of consumers and investors."

A former Kenner middle school teacher investigated and arrested by our Cyber Crime Unit has been brought to justice. Willie Moses was convicted of pornography involving juveniles, computer-aided solicitation of a juvenile, sexual battery, and oral sexual battery.
