Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the entire Emerging Destinations team, we hope you had a fantastic holiday season and a wonderful New Year. While the past 20 months have been filled with many highs and lows, we are cautiously optimistic that 2022 will be a year of new beginnings for the travel industry.
With Jessie in Spain, Ana heading to Brazil and Jane going to Kenya in January, we are thrilled to say that the Emerging Destinations team won’t be slowing down any time soon! The same can be said about exciting news from our clients.
Iceland ProCruises is extending its Early Bird pricing until February 28th, while Icelandair just announced new routes from the U.S. to Reykjavik beginning in May.
If sunshine is more your client's style, they can spend an unforgettable vacation on the iconic Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini surrounded in a luxurious boutique or resort hotel as part of a custom itinerary designed by Pax More.
Whatever your clients’ 2022 travel dreams, the Emerging Destinations team is always happy to assist! Book a virtual appointment with me (Jenna) above and let’s catch up!

- Great news! Our Early Bird Rates are extended until February 28th, 2022.
- We are pleased to announce that our Best of Iceland shore excursions are now available! The Ocean Diamond docks at the pier in every harbor we visit leaving your clients free to explore on their own! However, keep in mind that most of the stops are in small villages, not big towns. To see as much of Iceland as possible during their stay, we advise them to have a look at our shore excursions!
- Keep in mind: Shore excursions are paid onboard the Ocean Diamond but are bookable in advance. We highly recommend your clients book the shore excursions prior to sailing since there is a maximum capacity for each excursion. Online shore excursion reservation.
- Please ask your clients to complete the board manifest form and send the completed form to us as soon as possible, no later than 8 weeks before departure. Online board manifest.

| Why does Iceland ProCruises give passengers more time to Husavík than any other Icelandic port of call? Because it’s a pretty special place.
Often called the “whale watching capital” of Iceland, the town’s offshore waters are home to 15 different whale species, as well as dolphins and 30 bird species. Watching the graceful ocean giants in their Arctic habitat is an unforgettable experience. Read on here.

| Hang a right from the Hótel Ísland and stroll down Laugavegur street with its eclectic array of restaurants, bars, shops and other attractions stretching more than two miles across the city center.
The street was constructed in 1885 along an ancient path that residents followed to the Laugardalur area to wash their clothes (and themselves) in the local hot springs. How times have changed: Nowadays, Laugardalur is Reykajavik’s outdoor recreation hub as well as the location of the Hótel Ísland. More here.
