Andrew Downes 6th Symphony

The Central England Camerata conducted by Anthony Bradbury, recorded this work in the Countess of Huntingdon Hall in Worcester on 4th October when it was supposed to be premiered for Andrew's 70th birthday concert at Hagley Hall.
Paula Downes has created a film to go with the Symphony, which is preceeded by interviews with the composer, his wife and publisher, Cynthia Downes, leader and manager of the orchestra, Anna Downes, conductor Anthony Bradbury and recording engineer Paul Baker.
This concert is part of Andrew Downes 70, a year of concerts to celebrate the composer's birthday, raising money for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research.  (#andrewdownes70)  Join the Concert
Previously by Andrew Downes - Symphonies 1 - 4, plus Concert Overtures "In the Cotswolds" and "Towards a New Age".  Ondrej Vrabec conducts the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.
