Free Online Resources and Caron's Bridge to Recovery Program
I hope that many of you received my message from last week containing information and ideas about how to get through this challenging season. As I think about the last few weeks, although they’ve been difficult, they’ve also been inspiring. I’ve been amazed by the creativity our community has shown in building new ways to stay connected – from online support groups to virtual coffee dates to digital watch parties and book clubs. I encourage you to keep reaching out, keep picking up the phone, and keep caring for yourself and others.
I wanted to follow up with you today to let you know that Caron’s Alumni Department is planning to stay connected for the duration of the COVID-19 situation. Our team members have been making calls and sending texts and emails daily to make sure you have the support you need. If you haven’t received a message from us yet, or would like to connect with us, please reach out to your regional Alumni and Family Coordinator – click here to view our team’s contact information.
In the meantime, I wanted to share some additional resources with you. Many of these resources are free and can be accessed online. Our Caron experts have also established a program called Bridge to Recovery if you feel you need a higher level of care – more details below. Also, don't forget to sign up for our free, daily inspirational text messages to help you start your morning off right - click here to view sign-up instructions.
If you have questions about any of these resources, please reach out to me or your Alumni and Family Coordinator for more information.
Finally, I’d like to say “thank you.” We’ve been reaching out to you, but many of you have also been reaching out to us, too. We appreciate the care and concern you have shown, from the phone calls to the encouraging messages to the donations of supplies. Your compassion means so much to me and my team!

In order to bridge the gap between leaving treatment and following through with your continuing care plan, Caron has developed Bridge to Recovery. This program provides additional support to help you navigate between virtual support and eventual transition back into your local community supports and appropriate level of care. With the recent and ever evolving challenges in our country related to COVID-19, we recognize that community lock downs and social distancing can create greater challenges to those returning home following inpatient treatment. Bridge to Recovery truly “bridges” the gap that many will experience or are experiencing today. Click here to view and download the program flyer.
