COVID-19 Precautions & Collaborative Meetings

High Desert Partnership is the organization that brings people together and much of our work revolves around convening meetings. However, in light of the current COVID-19 situation and recommendations from the Oregon Governor's office we have determined that bringing people together right now may not be the best thing to do.

We have decided to transition all collaborative meetings to being virtual meetings rather than in-person meetings for the near future. Our hope is that limiting exposure that could occur during these meetings, will keep all of you, our High Desert Partnership community safer. This decision immediately impacts the Wednesday, March 18 Harney Basin Wetlands Initiative meeting and the Thursday, March 19 Harney County Wildfire Collaborative meeting.

To confirm, these meetings will happen as scheduled, but rather than the majority of us attending in person, those of us who will attend will participate via phone or ZOOM video conferencing. For information about how to participate in these meetings, including if you have limited or no internet access, watch for an email from Ben Cate, our Ecological Coordinator with details.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
