Dear Incoming Student,
Where can you go to learn more about life at NYU, and who can you ask for help before you begin your studies in the fall? NYU Steinhardt students Claudia, Cosette, Daniel, Gianna, Grace, and Michelle are Summer Orientation Assistants and Peer Mentors who are available to help you through the advising and registration process over the next few weeks.
During NYU Welcome, they will host events and activities to help you make connections and learn about campus life along with a whole team of Peer Mentors. Peer Mentors also co-facilitate your New Student Seminar in the fall to bring you their perspectives on navigating living and learning at NYU and in NYC.
Before the semester begins, see NYU through their eyes via Instagram, and stay informed and interact with them through the events they are hosting. They will also be responding to you through your department’s Orientation Google Group which will launch later this week. You'll need to be logged in to your NYU Home acount to access your Orientation Google Group.
Read your Summer Orientation Assistants' bios below, plus RSVP for events they are hosting in June!
