Loves About Brebeuf
I love that Brebeuf stays open to new ideas and tries to understand issues in all realms, even if the issues do not specifically apply to them. I love that Brebeuf encourages me to be the best woman for others during my high school career and prepares me to be a phenomenal student AND person after high school. Brebeuf challenges everyone to be the best versions of themselves.

You were recruited by UNC for track and have committed to attend next fall. Tell us about that process and what you’re looking forward to next year?
I started the recruiting process September 1 of my junior year. It began with phone calls, and I was being recruited by over 20 schools in almost every conference, most being in the SEC, ACC, Pac-12, and Big 10.
The most important things I looked for while being recruited were having the balance between a good track program and strong academics, a great coach to train me, and a connection with the team. As I went through the season, I started narrowing down schools specific to what I wanted. I took four official visits in the beginning of this year to USC, Auburn, UNC, and Arizona State.
I picked UNC because it was the best fit for me, had the #1 medical school in the nation, and outstanding pre-med and psychology programs. I am looking forward to being a great student-athlete next year, growing into a young woman while also being exposed to a new environment and getting closer to achieving my biggest goals.
