Halloween weekend is just around the corner, and whether you plan on drinking or not, it’s important to know what responsible drinking looks like and how to support a friend who has had too much to drink. Here are some important resources to help you have a fun and safe weekend:

Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College (and Graduate) Students (BASICS) is a service for students who want to explore their alcohol use. It is designed to assist you in examining your own substance use behaviors in a non-judgmental and non-confrontational environment with a health educator in UChicago Student Wellness. The goal of BASICS is to help you reduce risky behaviors and harmful effects from drinking.

Join Student Wellness for an accessible and approachable Restorative Yoga class that will ease tension and melt your worries away. Classes are free and open to all levels of experience and props and mats are provided. Please come in comfortable clothes and dress in layers.
Class is held on Mondays from 3-4pm in the Student Wellness Multipurpose Room. (840 E. 59th Street)
