Meet in the Garden Multipurpose Room this Saturday, June 4 at 8:30 am to finish up the work on the welcome baskets for Methodist Children's Home. Thank you to all who have purchased items or donated to the May communion offering in support of this work.  Communion offering to date:$1,462.00.
Every summer we are given the gift of offering a safe space for the children of our community to laugh, play, and participate in faith development. This is a gift the members of our church provide and we need many hands to make this a success. If you would like to volunteer, we invite you to attend the volunteer meeting this Sunday, June 5 immediately following worship in the Garden Multipurpose Room. We will look at the themes for each night and assign tasks and responsibilities. We will keep this meeting as brief as possible. If you would like to help but cannot attend the meeting, let Pastor Dawn know. And spread the word for all to register their kids for Gospel and Games! You may register your child and/or signup to volunteer here.

This Sunday we begin our "I've Got a Question" worship series. Each Sunday a panel from our congregation will engage in conversation around the questions you have sent in. There is no way to answer them all and quite frankly one Sunday morning isn't even enough for some of the questions, but we look forward to thinking deeply about our faith in this way. We will close out this series with a night of conversation Wednesday, June 29 @ 5:30. Bring a snack to share and come be in conversation with Pastor Dawn and others around all we heard and asked and lifted.

Senior Adult Spiritual Retreat: We are making plans to partner with other area UMCs to attend the “Festival of Wisdom and Grace” at Lake Junaluska, NC, August 1-4, 2022 for worship, workshops, recreation, and entertainment at the beautiful Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center. Participants will explore how to flourish as they navigate transitions, live into talents and passions, and cultivate their relationship with Christ in the second half of life. Mark the date and let the church office know here if you are interested in attending. More info at Lakejunaluska.com.
Habitat is resuming their work and currently working on rehabbing a house. Below are the dates and times for shifts. Reach out to Carrie Ainsworth for more info and to volunteer. And be on the lookout for information on the next Habitat for Humanity Women's Build beginning in July. This year's Women's build will be in loving memory of former First Lady Elise Varner Winter.

Come celebrate the beginning of summer and get to know the men of our church Monday, June 13 at the home of David Weiland; 6:30 - 9 pm. David will have some food available but BYOB and snacks if you so choose!
-Our first Summer Engage Wednesday is tonight! Catch-up and semester closeout conversation at Renaissance Starbucks at 5pm, grab dinner at Malco Renaissance grill, 6:40 showing of Top Gun: Maverick. Bring money for ticket and any food desired.
-Sunday Kickback at the Youth Suite, Sunday, June 5 from 5:30-7:30pm. Dinner, games, and the premiere of a short documentary about our youth ministry by two of our students!
-Adults, summer is a great time to get involved by volunteering with our youth ministry! We need 2 more chaperones for the summer trip to Panama City, and locally you can drive, feed, or hang out with our students at events throughout the summer.
