Dear Student,
As you prepare to come to campus, we’re writing to let you know about construction currently underway on Boston Avenue to accommodate utility work in the area. This work is taking place between the College Avenue intersection and University Avenue, in front of Dowling Hall and the new Pachyderm Place residences.
Traffic has been diverted into temporary lanes, maintaining two-way flow for most vehicles. Parking has been removed on both sides of the construction zone, and bikes will share the roadway with vehicles.
In anticipation of your arrival on campus, construction activity will pause during move-in days. However, temporary lanes and roadway width reductions will remain in place; trucks wider than 11 feet and tractor trailers will need to take an alternate route. Dowling Garage will remain open.
