COE Represented at TACUSPA
Dr. Peggy Holzweiss and three of our Higher Education Leadership doctoral students (Candi Sexton-Ruiz, Amy Gandara, & Christy Cervantes) were invited to present their research as a pre-conference session at the Texas Association of College & University Student Personnel Administrators (TACUSPA) 2025 Annual Conference this week at the University of Houston.
There are a number of SHSU students and faculty who have articles in the special issue. Drs. Gabriela Silvestre and Eric Platt also attended TACUSPA this week. Our Bearkat students and faculty were well represented at this annual state conference!

In the attached picture, our students are holding up the printed special issue journal where their work is published. It was released with the start of the conference. A digital version of the special issue journal can be obtained here.
