Dear Parents and Families,
We are writing to share a few reminders leading up to your student's arrival and move in.
Our last Orientation webinar: Love and Boundaries—Your Family's Transition to College is this week: Thursday, July 9 at 6 p.m. ET. Please register in advance.
|
While registration is not required to attend programming for parents and families on your student’s move-in day or the Matriculation Ceremony we hope you will take a few minutes to fill out our brief survey and let us know which programs you plan to attend.

Mailing Packages in Advance |
Packages can be mailed to the Medford mailroom in advance of your student's move-in day, but please do not mail anything before August 1. For BFA students, packages can be mailed to the SMFA Fenway/Boston mailroom in advance, starting August 18. For more information, including Package Delivery Guidelines, visit the Mail Services web pages. Your student will receive their unique mailing address with their housing assignment at the end of the month.
|
Undergraduate Orientation |
Undergraduate Orientation is required for all new students, including new transfer students. Orientation will run from Wednesday, September 2 through Monday, September 7; classes begin on Tuesday, September 8. During Orientation, students participate in a wide range of programs designed to familiarize them with campus resources, build community and connection, and establish skills for independence and responsibility. Your student will receive their Orientation schedule on September 2.
|
We will send final move-in details in early August. Until then, please refer to the Orientation website. We’re looking forward to welcoming your students (and many of you too!) to campus for move-in.
