TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
WINTER BREAK WELLNESS
  • Relax and recharge. Use this time to build a healthy sleep schedule and get the rest you deserve.
  • Too much free time can be hard to adjust to. Think about activities you can do to avoid boredom or frustration. Read, paint, cook, exercise, etc.
  • Don't fall into a slump. Set an alarm at a reasonable time and make a routine to stay productive throughout the day.
  • Prepare for family problems. Think about potential conflicts that might arise, and make a list of coping skills that work for you.
  • Start setting goals. Write a list of realistic goals you hope to accomplish in 2021. Share your goals with a friend to hold yourself accountable.
  • Check out the Counseling Services' Self-Care Kit for more wellness strategies.
Have a good break! Quick Quack will return with another newsletter on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
