Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
As we all too rapidly approach the beginning of the new Academic Year, I want to thank all of our faculty who dedicate themselves to serving our students and colleagues.
In particular, I am pleased to share the list of Department Chairs for the 2025-26 academic year. In addition to their roles as scholars and educators, our Chairs serve as vital leaders who help guide the academic mission of our University. Their service supports faculty success, student learning, and the overall strength of our academic programs. Please join me in thanking all those who have agreed to take on this important responsibility in the year ahead.

Office of Graduate Affairs
On July 28, the Office of Graduate Affairs hosted its biannual Meet and Greet for New Graduate Students, welcoming nearly 90 new graduate students in attendance. The event provided a casual yet informative space for students to meet their classmates, as well as faculty members and administrators across programs. It was truly an evening of conversation, connection and community.
Looking ahead, the Office of Graduate Affairs is excited to host more welcome events before classes begin. On Wednesday, August 13, the office will be hosting a University-wide New Graduate Student Orientation. This virtual orientation will introduce students to resources and services available at Seton Hall that will support and facilitate their studies.
To round out the series of summer events, graduate students can stop by the Office of Graduate Affairs on the second floor of Schwartz Hall for Welcome Week. From August 25 - August 28, between 4-7 p.m. each day, graduate students are invited to visit for a snack and chat with their peers before class. Faculty members and administrators are also invited to attend during this week to engage with our new and continuing graduate students.
