Humans of Radford: Everyone Has a Story to Share |
|
|
Radford University’s ninth annual personal storytelling event, Humans of Radford, will take place on Monday, Oct. 16, on the McConnell Library Lawn. Engage in authentic short conversations to promote understanding, challenge preconceptions, and encourage mutual respect.
If you have a personal story you would be willing to share in either a one-on-one or small group setting, this is your chance to share your experiences with fellow members of the Radford University community.
The Division of Student Affairs is accepting applications online – volunteer to share your story, for as little as an hour. Submit your story’s title and brief summary by clicking the link below. If you are seeking an accommodation to participate in the event, reach out at least 10 days before the event to help Student Life plan by contacting Alyssa Archer at aarcher2@radford.edu or 540-831-5688.
This event is sponsored by McConnell Library, the Citizen Leader Program, the Center for Diversity & Inclusion, the Center for Accessibility Services and the Interdisciplinary Humanities Research Lab as part of Humanities Days.
For more information, contact Alyssa Archer at aarcher2@radford.edu or 540-831-5688.
