Welcoming the Incoming Class of Higher Education Master's Students
| |
The Higher Education and Student Affairs program held its second virtual Recruitment Days in March, with the support of the Association of Student Affairs Professionals (ASAP) Recruitment Chairs. Virtual recruitment has presented more opportunities to candidates who may have not been able to travel to New York, and has allowed alumni in other states to participate in panels and activities. ASAP Recruitment Chairs Jenna Schmidt and Lauren West prioritized opportunities for candidates to seek support from current students and alumni, coordinating more than 25 current student volunteers. Program Director Mike Funk looks forward to "providing platforms that foster relationship and community building" for incoming and returning students. The master’s program is excited to welcome 24 new full-time and 14 new part-time students to the program in August.
