Eight ceremonies brought joyful graduates and their families to the University Library lawn to cheer, scream and shed more than a few happy tears. Don’t miss the photos from this event— they’re 🔥.

Apple executive and former EPA administrator Lisa Jackson was honored among CSUN’s College of Engineering and Computer Science graduates at their commencement ceremony on Friday, May 16. Jackson was recognized for her work to expand education access, as well as her groundbreaking environmental leadership.

At CSUN, students who identify as Asian, Pacific Islander and Desi American (APIDA) are finding meaningful ways to celebrate their heritage, embrace their identities and build community. 

The 16th annual Senior Design Project Showcase brought senior engineering and computer science students out of the labs to show their capstone projects to the public. Check out the video highlights from the event and see their creations.

The spring 2025 semester officially ends May 23, as does the 2024-25 academic year. Grades should appear in the CSUN Portal under the top Academics/My Classes menu. Official spring transcript availability is anticipated June 13.

Summer classes begin Tuesday, May 27. Online and on-campus courses are offered in 12- and 6-week sessions. Register through June 6 for Sessions 1 and 2 and through July 18 for Session 3.

As the spring 2025 semester finishes, now it’s time to make an appointment with your academic advisor, check for any registration holds and enroll in fall 2025 classes! Your enrollment appointment displays in your CSUN Portal Checklist.

Campus business offices are closed on Monday, May 26. Summer Term 2025 classes for Sessions 1 and 2 begin Tuesday, May 27.

Associated Students present movie nights on Thursdays, starting June 5. Grab your lawn chairs and car pool to campus, because the movies are free, but the parking is not.

Harvest alongside volunteers from Food Forward, the group dedicated to food gleaning to help people in need. It’s a harvest in CSUN’s historic citrus grove, but also a festive event with refreshments and fun for all ages. Register for this free event and be a part of this powerful day of action, unity and impact.

The 2025-26 season will take audiences far and wide — from the nightlife of Lisbon, Buenos Aires and Mexico City to the daily life of West Africa and the spiritual realms of Alice Coltrane and Duke Ellington. Plus: masterworks by Brahms and megahits from Quincy Jones, and much, much more.
