Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
I hope you had a restful and restorative Spring Break and were able to find time for renewal. As we return to campus and begin the second half of the semester, I want to again thank you for the continued care and commitment you bring to our students and to one another.
Spring is often a season of momentum – as classes deepen, projects take shape and we look ahead to commencement and the many milestones that mark this time of year. It is also a moment to reflect on the scholarship and creativity that sustain our academic mission.
In that spirit, I invite you to explore our 2024-25 Faculty Sabbatical Panorama. This collection highlights the important work understaken by colleagues across disciplines during their sabbatical leaves, from groundbreaking research and writing to innovative pedagogical development and creative projects. Sabbaticals represent a vital investment in intellectual growth, and the outcomes of this work enrich our classrooms, our campus conversations, and the broader community we serve.
I encourage you to take a few moments to read about these projects and celebrate the depth and breadth of scholarship within our faculty.
Welcome back, and I look forward to all that we will accomplish together in the weeks ahead.
